Heathrow Airport Representation

The LCDC have two representatives working at Heathrow. Both Peter Cannon and Mark White are fully aware of the constant pressures that are faced by our members who work out of Heathrow Airport every day. These influences are wide ranging, but all have a major impact on our members and the London Licensed Taxi industry as a whole.

Touting is a huge problem, hundreds of jobs are being touted directly at all of the 5 terminals every single day, effectively taking work away from the our members having a huge impact on their takings.
Peter and Mark are in continuous consultation with BAA authorities and the police as to who should be dealing with this illegal activity.

There are actively also ensuring the comfort facilities that are available for the drivers at the feeder park are maintained to a high standard.
The gate entrance levy imposed on the drivers is representative of the cost of the operation BAA carry out via the computerised taxi distribution system and the Wardens at each terminal.
