Back to Black: It is our opinion at the LCDC that our fleet of licences London taxis should revert back to one colour BLACK. The rationale behind this proposal is as follows:
- Our icon, the London Black Taxi is the most recognised taxi around the world.
- Back to Black will ensure that the travelling public can more easily recognise us.
- With ever increasing pressure on our industry this will restore the icon of the taxi.
- It will also make us look more professional once again.
- PH companies have seen the benefit of a fleet all the same colour, we must maintain a consistent and uniform presence among our competitors.
