On Tuesday, the LCDC attended a trade meeting with London Taxi Company and their PR Company, Stockwell at their offices in the Strand.
This is going to be very important moving forwards as we ( licensed taxi trade ) really need positive PR to be seen in newspapers, poster campaigns and other media streams if we are to have any chance in fighting Ubers spin doctors.
It really was 4 hours very well spent with everyone putting ideas forward and asking questions in the room like, ” what does London’s taxis bring to London?”… our strengths, our history, our fantastic disability record, all these and more need to be worked out and presented in a real strong focused voice that can be used to highlight to Londoners just what a great service we provide in this great Capital City of ours.
