Today, the Independent Mayoral candidate, Paul Tavares visited the Clubs office to discuss many of the taxi trades issues:
Paul has many ideas regarding how he feels the trade should be run by Tfl and made several sensible suggestions; One of these was that all our licence fees should be “ring fenced” and our Compliance & Enforcement staff be run solely by the Metropolitan Police.
He has asked to write in the next issue of the Badge, and I have agreed to let him do so.
