On Tuesday 5 July sixty volunteer London Cab drivers will take a group of over 100 veterans (including many WWII veterans) to Worthing.

Every year since 1948, (apart from during the pandemic) the Taxi Charity has been taking veterans to Worthing for the day, to spend time with their friends and enjoy a meal and entertainment.

Date  – Tuesday 5 July

Taxis and veterans gather in South Holmwood village, near Dorking in Surrey from 9.00am for home-made sandwiches, cakes, and refreshments

11.00am Taxis and Veterans depart to travel in convoy along the A24 to Worthing

Arrive Worthing at approximately 12.00pm for a meal and entertainment in The Promenade Rooms on the pier
