Road closure plan for the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
- Day 1 (2 June) – Trooping the Closure – Horse guards Parade
- Day 2 (3 June) – Service of Thanksgiving at St. Pauls
- Day 3 (4 June) – Platinum Party (Queens Memorial Park)
- Day 4 (5 June) – The Pageant (St. James Park – Parliament Square)
Day 1 – Trooping the colour
- Event starts at 10:00, fly pass 14:00
- Road closure starts from 06:00
- Extended closure plan
- Plus contingency closures
- Roads will reopen approx. 16:00
Day 2 – Service of Thanksgiving at St. Pauls
- Service at St. Pauls commences at 11:30
- The COL Square Mile full road closes 07:30 – 16:30
- This also includes Queen Victoria Street (QVS)
- Road west of St. Pauls will start to reopen 14:00, with all road closure to be lifted by 16:30
- Some road closure may come in the night before
Day 3 – Platinum Party at the Place
- BBC Televised concert in the QVM and The Mall
- Road closures from 11:30 – 01:00 this is dependent on crowds
- Plus contingency closures
- It maybe necessary to close Terminus Place, Victoria Station forecourt for queuing system, Taxis will pick up passengers from Wilton Road taxi rank if needed
Day 4 – Platinum Pageant
- The form up point for the floats will be Victoria Embankment which will be closed from 00:01 – 23:59
- 04:30 closure of Parliament Square etc.
- Closure along the route and contingency closures
In the days before the bank holiday weekend, some overnight and off peak road closures will be required in central London to allow for final event setup, some road closure will come in the evening of 30 May 2022
